Crown + Bridge
There may be times when a filling is not the appropriate choice to restore a tooth. Some of these scenarios include: tooth fracture, cracked tooth or after root canal therapy. In these situations a crown may be the better approach. A crown can be made up of porcelain, metal or a combination of both. Crowns offer additional protection by covering the entire chewing portion of your tooth. In the case of tooth loss, a bridge can be used to fill in the missing space.
