Implant Prosthetics

Whether you’re missing one tooth or many, dental implants can be a great way to restore function, esthetics and comfort. A dental implant is a titanium prosthesis that is surgically placed into the jaw bone. Dr. Frost does not place implants at our office, but he partners with many qualified surgeons to get you the treatment you need. There is often a 3 month healing process after your implant surgery. Dr. Frost will discuss tooth replacement options with you during the healing phase of treatment. Once the surgeon confirms the implant has successfully integrated with your bone, Dr. Frost will be ready to begin the process of fabricating a crown (tooth) for your implant. The process typically ranges from 4-7 months but can take longer depending on the clinical presentation.
